Vanessa Hudgens, an American actress and singer, was born on December 14, 1998, Salinas, California. Her talent was obvious when she was only 8 years old. Vanessa Hudgens had her first artistic  appearances in musical theatres, but that was only the beginning of what there was to come. Her success was obvious at the beginning, but there were other films that would make her very famous in the future.

However, the first step before she became an actress, Vanessa Hudgens was successful with commercial auditions and then she moved to Los Angeles, the perfect place for becoming famous. Vanessa Hudgens acted in television shows such as Robbery Homicide Division (2002), The Brothers Garcia (2003) and Still Standing (2002). The first film in which  Vanessa Hudgens played was called Thirteen, a drama that was released in 2003. 2004 came with another surprise for  Vanessa Hudgens: she played in the film entitled Thunderbirds. This film was not appreciated, but Vanessa Hudgens continued, trying to play in several films and her incredible success came with the  High School Musical, in which she played the role of Gabriella Montez. In 2007, a second part of the film was released, due to its success. It was also the time when  Vanessa Hudgens became very popular and known to the public. She was very often in the spotlight, so it is incredible how a film can launch someone’s career. 

The actress was also involved in projects such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Bandslam, Beastly, Sucker Punch and High School Musical 3. 2012 will be the year when  another film in which Vanessa Hudgens played -Journey 2:The Mysterious Island and Gimme Shelter-  will be released. Her talents do not stop to acting as he is also known for her musical talents. Until now, Hudgens, has already released two music albums. There is also a downside of her career, regarding the nude photos of her that appeared on the Internet and the event turned into a horrible scandal that affected her public image very much. There were rumours saying that she actually did that in order to gain more attention from the media.
